Gideon Report

Gideon Media Arts ConferenceWell, we are back from the 5-day Gideon Media Arts Conference.

When Monique and I decided to go to the Gideon this year, it was a big commitment for us financially. We honestly were worried if it was going to be worth it.

Well, let me tell you.

We had such a great time! Every day was packed with great informative workshops and lots of quality time with tons of great people. This was easily one of the best investments in our future we have ever made. We will definitely be going back next year.

We also had a film in the short film competition. FORGIVE ME was nominated for best short film, and Travis Ammons was nominated for best actor.

FORGIVE ME won runner-up best short film (which I believe was out of 25 to 30 entries, so still not too shabby!), and I am very pleased to announce that Travis WON for BEST ACTOR! Congratulations to Travis.

But even more than the awards, the relationships that we made are by far the most valuable thing we have come away with. Thanks to Rodney Marett and all the Gideon faculty for hosting such a great event.
